About me
I am Zsofia Princz, a ceramic artist creating uniquely designed ceramic lamps.
The magic of ceramics tends to completely captivate a person, but I have always moved in creative circles. Previously, as an art historian and art manager, I observed and experienced the creative processes from another aspect of the art world.
As a ceramic artist, I entered a completely new creative world, providing me with the opportunity to bring my creative ideas to life. I believe that the experience gained in both fields has helped in launching my venture, Princz Ceramics.
My story began when I was looking for decorative lamps for our own home – with a very specific vision in my mind. After not finding success for a while, I decided to take matters into my own hands and create my dream lamp by crafting my own ceramics. I went to a ceramic workshop, and right from the first session, I fell in love with working with clay; I knew that from then on, this is what I wanted to do. The experience of craftsmanship is unforgettable: creating and shaping objects forms a special connection between the creator and the artistic process.
So, recently, a dream of mine came true as I was able to start a business that I am very proud of – it is the heart of my passion. I can now engage in something I love, expressing my own personality
