From Art History to Clay
Princz Ceramics began with a simple search for the perfect lamp.
I had a clear vision of what I wanted for my own home, but after months of searching, I realised it simply didn't exist. So I decided to make it myself.
What started as a single ceramics class quickly became something much more. I fell in love with the quiet rhythm of working with clay and the endless possibilities it offered.
Today, every lamp is still handcrafted by me in my Budapest studio. Drawing on my background in art history and years spent working in the art world, I create pieces that combine sculptural form with everyday function. Each lamp is made slowly, thoughtfully, and one at a time — with the hope that it will become a lasting part of someone's home.
